The restauration and reconfiguration of the spaces from the historical downtown Puebla
Abstract
This text deals with the discussion about a vision of heritage that responds to new forms of consumption that have to do with the local history and with the properties that have been chosen to represent it. The case of the historic centre of the city of Puebla, discussed in a general way that the architectural intervención in an important number of buildings in recent years has contributed to a reconfiguration of the space in which intersectappropriatons, capital and speeches. In patricular ir adresses the issue of restaurants belonging to Tesoros de Mexico cathegory from the collected information durign field work,2 wich enriches the analysis of the emergence of new pratices, actors, enviroments, value propositions and gastronomic offers in revitalized spaces, within the frame work of an idea of heritage wich gives prestige and social recognition.
