Education and culture, freedom of the thought in favour of life
Abstract
This paper integrates four positions focused on the same issue: reflecting from philosophy on the role of education, especially at the higher level, as a real action of transformation that awakens critical thinking, attentive to the needs of culture and seeking the means to conquer the terrain of freedom. This is an important ethical task facing the liquid world that characterizes the present time. It is possible to carry out such a commitment if one understands the meaning of the responsibility to care for life and if one chooses to transmit in a renewed way the fundamental knowledge of our species.
