Abstract
This study has the purpose to gather information from the values expressed in the mastery and in Phd grades from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla university through their graduation profile, general objectives, specific objectives and values; as well as which values the students perceive through the different stages of their professional development. The study was achieved through a research done on the website of the vice-rectories of study research from master and Phd degrees and by doing a poll through electronic means; from a total of 987 students, 207 responded it, and from 61 master and phd grades students, 45 responded it. Three categories were obtained from the documental research: Abilities, aptitudes and values; in the case of the poll the students perceive: attitudes, values, and professional development within an excellent university. The previous knowledge makes possible to establish that there is congruence between what is expressed from an institutional insight and what the students perceive.
