Abstract
This article addresses the importance of preventive periodontal education in adults facing comorbidities, specifically diabetes and hypertension. It explores the deep connection between oral health and these medical conditions, highlighting the relevance of prevention for oral and systemic well-being. The main objective is to disseminate in an accessible way the need to adopt rigorous oral care practices, promote regular dental examinations, and offer practical advice for comprehensive health management in the context of chronic diseases. Through this scientific dissemination, we seek to raise awareness among the population about the crucial interrelationship between oral health and concomitant medical conditions, promoting a preventive approach to improve the life quality of these patients.
