Abstract

One of the elements that stand out in current food analysis is the inter- and transdisciplinary perspective that is being generated in the various scientific fields linked to the study of food; The theoretical and methodological interactions between anthropology, agronomy, cultural geography, sociology, nutrition and health sciences are producing approaches that we could characterize as reflective on the way in which food practices and all that they produce are analyzed by these disciplines, such reflections and inter and transdisciplinary dialogues are the elements that constitute this thematic dossier. We seek with this edition to disseminate the possibilities of meeting and reflection to add not only to the understanding, but to the attention of food problems either through community projects, public policies or to generate epistemological reflection in the various scientific niches where the food fact is investigated and analyzed.
