A look at textile art with Sandra Reyes
Abstract
Sandra Reyes Rodríguez is a multidisciplinary artist from Puebla who from an early age was introduced to performing arts and textiles. For personal reasons, she distanced herself from fabrics and needles for several years, resuming this activity partially through her work as a puppeteer, an artistic practice that she has carried out professionally for more than twenty years in the group A Escena Teatro A.C. (founded and made up of Ángel Ledezma and her). Approximately seven years ago, Sandra reconciled with textiles through a doll-making workshop and later by participating with two pieces of the same nature in a contest on the theme of migration.
