Code of Ethics
Amoxcalli subscribes to the ethical guidelines that the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) proposes for the actors involved in the publication process. In addition to the director and editors of the journal, it has the support of an International Scientific Committee and an Editorial Committee composed of researchers from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the BUAP.
As part of the rules followed by Amoxcalli, reviewers use an anti-plagiarism tool provided by the BUAP library service. If plagiarism is detected, the author will be informed immediately. In the case of short sentences or fragments and the author responds with an explanation satisfactory to the reviewers, it will be possible to admit the article again for review with the appropriate corrections. If no response is received, the collaboration will be rejected, and the victim of the plagiarism and/or the superiors of the plagiarist will be informed.
