Juan García Ponce recognized several times that his creative work was full of secularized religious elements, the act of writing itself was ritualized in different ways. This essay analyzes the ways in which ritualization is reflected in the novel Chronicle of the intervention, in addition, it is proposed that this practice had a profound effect on the creativity and life of the author.
