The representation of trans voice in the poetry of Oaxacan Daniel Nizcub

The objective of this essay is to approach, based on the anthology of poems Poesía en transición (2021) from the author Daniel Nizcub, the representation of the trans voice as a leitmotiv using his point of view as a poet, in which he narrates the tribulations that came with the start of his gender transition process. This voice is born from the uncertainty of not knowing who he was, until the point of accepting and embracing this masculinity building him up within a straight normed society, from which he needs to find emancipation to finally discover his own voice; this voice is what then allows him to express his real identity.
