Abstract

When looking for a plant that adapts to the environment and indoor atmosphere, with minimum maintenance care that keeps a continuously green and fresh foliage, we identify succulent plants that store a large amount of water in their leaves and stems, resist dry conditions, and grow on limestone soils, which are perfect characteristics so that they can be used as ornamental plants for home, offices, restaurants, and so forth. This paper describes two succulent specimens: Echeveria paraguayensis and Agave attenuata within the urban landscape.
