The Grotesque poetics: representation, ideology and social imaginary in Metro newspaper
Abstract
The article makes a critical reading of the Metro newspaper in order to analyze the stylistic and narrative aspects that explain its media success. From this analysis is proposed the possible existence of a poetics, based on a deductive method, which structures the constituent elements of the notes whose purpose is the reproduction of certain ideologies within the framework of a social imaginary.
