Polymathy: an aspiration for lifelong learning

Abstract

El proceso de comunicar la ciencia entre el público en general y la comunidad científica, implica un gran desafío para las personas que intentan mostrar de forma atractiva conceptos de varias áreas del conocimiento con alto grado de especialización. La habilidad narrativa para mejorar el recuerdo y la comprensión de temas complejos en una audiencia más general, requiere de un entrenamiento multidisciplinario, característica esencial de los polímatas. Este articulo tiene como objetivo describir cómo se ha abordado el estudio de la polimatía y qué variables están involucradas en su desarrollo.
