Efecto bactericida del aceite esencial de canela contra Salmonella spp.

Resumen

Las enfermedades de transmisión alimentaria siguen siendo algunas de las patologías más frecuentes en el mundo. Además, el alza en la proliferación de las superbacterias multiresistentes ha provocado que en el gremio científico surja una línea de investigación dedicada a la búsqueda de alternativas a los antibióticos actuales con énfasis en productos naturales, específicamente en aceites esenciales que cuentan con un potencial de aplicación biotecnológica.
