Roberto Ferro, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina

Roberto Ferro. Writer and literary critic. Doctor of Letters from the University of Buenos Aires, professor and researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. He has taught postgraduate courses in Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, France, Spain and Italy. He is a member of the Editorial Board of numerous academic and literary journals. Among his published books are Lectura (h)errada con Jacques Derrida -Escritura y desconstrucción (1995), Onetti/La fundación imaginada (2003), De la literatura y los restos (2009), Textos y mundos (2015), Cortázar - Un nómada de otras orillas (2018) and El aparejo de un crítico (2021). He has edited the volume dedicated to Macedonio Fernández in La Historia Crítica de la Literatura Argentina (2007), and the critical edition of Operación Masacre followed by La campaña periodística (2009). He has also published novels and poetic texts. Some of his books have been translated into English, Portuguese and Italian. In 2016 he was distinguished with the Konex Award for literary essay.
